Chakras are our energy centers involved with distribution and storage of energy.
We have seven whirlpools of energy centers called Chakras that run through the center of our body. These energy centers store all our thoughts, action and activities that are positive, neutral and negative. When these fields of energy get clogged with negative energy, unhappiness or unwellness occurs. To unclog these Chakras or vortices we just need to increase the flow of energy or life force. This is done through meditation, breathing exercises, shifting negative patterns to positive patterns, using light, sound and even vibration.
When the Chakra system is in balance so is the endocrine (hormonal) system and vice versa. But when our modern lifestyles work against this equilibrium, our endocrine glands create blockages and imbalances in our energy glands (chakras)!
The seven Chakras, when flowing or stuck will show distinct characteristics. The first three Chakras influence the Humanity level and the last three Chakras on a Divinity level. Through each of the levels we strive for positive qualities. The quality and transformation of energies as we go higher on the Chakras change from solid, earthiness qualities to unsolid, air and ether qualities of superconsiousness.
The first chakra is located at the base of the spine. The energy is mostly solid in the “Earth Element.” When flowing the beneficial aspects are groundedness and loyalty, when clogged stubbornness, stuckness and fear of change.
The second chakra is an inch and a half up from the first chakra. The nerves from here affect our reproductive system. Fluidity, flexibility and creativity are expressed in this “Water Element” when flowing but when clogged indecisiveness.
The third chakra is opposite the naval in the astral spine. The nerves from here affect our digestive system. Flowing we have dynamic enthusiasm and fiery self-control in this “Fire Element” but when clogged characters of abusiveness and manipulation show up.
The fourth chakra is at the region of the heart in the spine. When it is flowing unconditional love and expansiveness flow in this “Air Element” and when clogged emotional anger, rage, jealousy and attachments to desires.
The fifth chakra opposite the throat in the spine affect communications. When flowing calmness and kindness can be heard through a person’s voice. When clogged boredom and restlessness occur.
The sixth chakra point is between the eyebrows. Many know it as the third eye or spiritual eye. It is the seed of enlightenment when stuck our Ego can get in the way.
Our seventh chakra, crown chakra is on top of the head and is the Seed of Liberation!
As our mind, body and spirit and chakras are intimately connected, it is important to keep them purified and unclogged. The best way to do this is to work on the whole Chakra System by energizing the entire body, meditating and bringing the energy inward and upward towards the third eye to purify and reach higher levels of consciousness.
